English Content Writer (In-house)

About the Vacancy

Multiply Group, an Abu Dhabi-based holding company that invests in transformative cash-generating businesses in energy & utilities, mobility, wellness & beauty, and media & communications, is looking for an experienced English content writer with solid hands-on writing skills and content creation for both offline and online platforms. The candidate should have the ability to showcase the group’s work and achievements through both factual and human approach stories.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing, excellent research skills, corporate and financial writing skills, and the ability to write creative and engaging content that resonates with our target audience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Producing strong content and stories for the Group's communications channels and collaterals. 
• Conceptualise, plan and execute communications materials’ content for various stakeholders in coordination with the communications team.
• Write and edit articles, reports, and other communications materials including features, success stories, bios, speeches, opinion pieces, insights, and social media content.
• Creating compelling headlines, body copy, taglines, and video scripts that will capture the attention of the target audience.
• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original informative, accurate, concise, and on-brand content.
• Stay aware of recent market news and stories to produce content accordingly.
• Participates in brainstorming sessions and help come up with concepts and ideas.
• Conduct interviews with relevant stakeholders to generate content.
• Edit and proofreads every piece of communications with an eye for detail.

Skills and Qualifications

• University degree in communications, journalism, English language and literature or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant and proven professional experience content writing and copywriting.
• Must have corporate and financial writing skills.
• Strong knowledge of production of content for reports, newsletters, multimedia and online.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams.
• Organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and work across multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion.
• GCC experience is a plus.
