Senior Graphic Designer (In-house)

About the Vacancy

Multiply Group, an Abu Dhabi-based holding company that invests in transformative cash-generating businesses in energy & utilities, mobility, wellness & beauty, and media & communications, is looking for an experienced senior graphic designer to conceptualize and implement creative solutions that meet marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for design, high standards for craft and execution, and a desire to communicate innovative ideas to a wide range of audiences.

He/she should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and able to synthesize points of view from various stakeholders in order to offer solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the art director and the communications team to ensure that the creative work will achieve the company’s strategic and communication objectives.
• Ensure designs are visually appealing, aligned with latest design trends, consistent, and on-brand. 
• Study design briefs, determine requirements and conceptualize visuals accordingly.
• Design, develop and coordinate production of large-scale reports, publications, corporate presentations, digital & social media content, and marketing materials.
• Create infographics, illustrations and logos. 
• Design storyboards for animated videos and work closely with the in-house animators for the execution. 
• Refine images, fonts, typography and layouts.
• Adapt and test graphics for all needed media platforms. 
• Liaise with relevant parties and design teams to ensure deadlines are met.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fine art, graphic design, or similar discipline.
• 2-3 years of agency experience as a senior graphic designer.
• High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and familiarity with After Effects and Premiere.
• Strong ideation skills with a clear understanding of branding and design processes.
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
• Knowledge of web and social media best practices/guidelines and trends.
• Strong capability with typography, layout, and prototyping.
• Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.
• GCC experience is a plus.
