Video Animator/Videographer (In-house)

About the Vacancy

Multiply Group, an Abu Dhabi-based holding company that invests in transformative cash-generating businesses in energy & utilities, mobility, wellness & beauty, and media & communications, is looking for an experienced animator/ videographer who can demonstrate a passion for visual production, creative thinking, and storytelling. The ideal candidate will be working collaboratively with members of the team to plan and create compelling, high-quality videos and photos that will be used across Multiply Group’s digital and social media platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the communications team and other key stakeholders to brainstorm, conceptualize, and produce high-quality creative and engaging video and photo content that reflects Multiply Group’s Strategic and Communication objectives.
• Support the team for timely delivery of quality 2D Animations & Videos.
• Create 2D animations for Multiply Group’s web & social media platforms.
• Plan, set up, manage, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, and microphones for location and studio production.
• Film internal & external events and prepare the videos for all channels.
• Capture, edit, stream live video session of meetings & interviews.
• Post-production including editing, colour grading, layering voice overs, sfx, sound mixing & delivering relevant video & audio formats.
• Capture/build a photo library for all requirements such as internal & external events, team, or subsidiaries library for the Group usage.
• Collaborate with other animators or 3rd party suppliers for production when needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in 2D animation/Videography/Photography.
• Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Photoshop (Basic), and Illustrator (Basic).
• Hands on Experience in Sony Alpha 7 series Cameras, Blackmagic URSA Mini Cameras, Audio Recorders & Microphone.
• Good knowledge of traditional animation principles, video production.
• Ability to take on a delegated task with a reasonable amount of supervision.
• Good understanding of post-production techniques.
• Can work in a variety of digital venues with software to edit and finish video work.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with camera equipment.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Knowledge of Blend, Davinci Resolve and Media Encoder is a plus.
• GCC experience is a plus.
